Dispose of prescription drugs carefully to protect the environment
It all seems rather harmless. You have a bottle of expired or unused prescription or over-the-counter drugs in the cabinet. You’re not sure what to do with them. So, you open up the bottle and flush those old pills or liquids down the toilet or drain.
Cat keeps urinating on carpet…?
Okay, I have three cats, two females and a male. The females are 11 and 6, and the male is about 4 or 5. We moved to a new area two years ago, and since the move the male has decided to not only mark his territory, but he’s also using those two spots over and over again rather than the three clean cat boxes available for his use. We’ve repeatedly cleaned out the litter boxes (I mean actual washing and putting in new litter that I know they like). He uses the boxes to defecate in, but he just really likes to relieve himself next to the litter box in my bedroom and in the living room next to the china cabinet. The smell is being dealt with by Nature’s Miracle, but I’d really like this bad behavior to stop.
Any ideas? (Other than the obvious – get rid of the cat. He is my little sister’s cat, and the family won’t consider giving him up because he’s the our only cat that comes and hangs out with us. He’s very friendly.)
Some cats like to poop in one box and pee in another. If you have 3 cats, you should have 4 litter boxes. You may want to put a plastic mat under the box to protect the floor. Maybe he wouldn’t like a new surface there. The sources below might help.
